As one of nature's wonder foods, Brewers Yeast is a naturally occurring yeast used in the brewing of beer. It is known to be an excellent source of trace minerals and rich in protein, selenium, and complex B vitamins. This versatile product has a wide range of known health benefits from supporting the nervous system to maintaining hoof, coat, and eye condition. Brewers Yeast can be fed throughout the year.
Our Brewers Yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae), is in its inactive form as a paraprobiotic. Unlike live probiotics, paraprobiotics are non-living microorganisms that provide beneficial effects within the digestive system. Helping to support the immune system, promote a healthy gut environment, support intestinal cell health, and help inhibit undesirable bacteria.
Inactive Saccharomyces cerevisiae also offers excellent consistency and immediate availability of naturally occurring vitamins and growth factors to the gut microbiota, offering a safer, more stable alternative for gut health.
